Trusted with my Future

I remember when i first met u. U seemed like a nice place to work. So I trusted u with my future. All I wanted to do was go to work each day, get paid every two weeks and retire in 30 years. Everything was going smoothly but then you changed. U started to treat me badly. U lied to me. U brought in people who were less than trustworthy. U even tried to break my spirit.

Now u have put me out in the streets with very little warning or assistance. U dont care about me or the other people that were laid off. You showed me things that I have never seen before. You dont talk about me either. I guess out of sight is out of mind. But I am learning to survive without u. This is a hard lesson. Thanks for showing me the real world of government...
